The love team of Startruck winners Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal will topbill GMA’s new soap “Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?”

“Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?” is the next Sine Novela to make daytime tv ratings more interesting. It’s the tv remake of the 1984 film of the same title starring Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.

Kris and Aljur’s love team started in the teeny-bopper program Boys Nxt Door. It continued in the primetime series Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, Dyesebel and Luna Mystika. They are also one of the featured pairs in the Regal movie “Loving You.”

The Sine Novela marks their first leading role together as a love team. Both Aljur and Kris now feel the pressure because this is their biggest break on the kapuso network. Furthermore, GMA’s Sine Novela’s are consistent top-raters not just in Mega Manila, but now nationwide as well
